Awww. You probably understand sometimes the frustration when you go looking for a card for your loved one, especially if they are gay. I have gone several times to look for an anniversary card and they always have a man and woman on the cover or something of the sort about a man and a woman. Not really fair if you're gay right? Nope!
Anyways, Hallmark has decided to make some profit in this field. Good Idea!!
Hallmark has joined California and Massachusetts in recognising gay partnerships.
The popular greeting card company has been rolling out same-sex wedding cards featuring two tuxedos, overlapping hearts or intertwined flowers, with best wishes inside.
"Two hearts. One promise," one says.
The language inside the cards is neutral, with no mention of wedding or marriage, making them also suitable for a commitment ceremony.
Hallmark says the move is a response to consumer demand, not any political pressure.
"It's our goal to be as relevant as possible to as many people as we can," Hallmark spokeswoman Sarah Gronberg Kolell said. [SOURCE]
I think this is bloody brilliant. I can't wait for them to cross the border up to Canada. Next anniversary I will so get one. I love the one above, "Heterosexuals are so last year". MUHAHAHAHA.. BRILLIANT!!
