Hey Everyone. So Sorry. I have been dealing with some horrible horrible allergies the last few days. No Jokes. I was feeling like death and didn't have time to blog. I was running around trying to find some allergy medicine that would help me be normal for this time of season. I hate it. Every year around the same time I suffer from bad bad allergies..

There won't be much "livin' la vida loca" for Ricky Martin these days _ he's now the father of twin boys. The Latin superstar had the children via a surrogate mother, and the babies were born a few weeks ago, according to a statement from his representatives.

"The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care," said the statement. "Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children."

A representative said there was no further information on the details of the children's birth.
Martin, 36, is a multiplatinum singer who is best known for English-language hits like "She Bangs!" and "Livin' la Vida Loca." In recent years, the Puerto Rican star has been active in charitable efforts, including the prevention of sexual exploitation of children. [SOURCE]

BERLIN TRIBUTE TO GAYS DURING WWII VANDALIZED

Wow.. People seem to have a lot of time on their hands by the looks of things..

German police said Saturday that the new memorial in Berlin to gay victims of the Nazis was damaged by vandals.

Police said that someone had broken a window - a key part of the memorial - allowing visitors to peer into a gray concrete slab to see an image of a same-sex couple kissing on the monument. They added the monument was vandalized overnight and that they had no immediate suspects.

The memorial was opened in May across the street from the much-larger memorial to Jewish victims of the Holocaust. [SOURCE]

WESTBORO BAPTISTS TARGET FORMER U.S. SEN. JOHN EDWARDS

Oh Yes. The Gay's Favourite Group of People (insert sarcasm) are back in the news. They are out to voice their opinion that John Edwards is "cursed" by God.

Edwards, the former Senator for North Carolina, has been part of the campaign to end the U.S. military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding LGBT members of the armed forces.

The WBC claimed on Saturday 16th that Edwards is a "fag enabler", who attacked the WBC for "preaching God's holy truth about fags."

The church also said that Edward's ex-wife, Elizabeth, is a "fornicator-enabler", due to her work as a lawyer, and a "blasphemer".

Edwards recently admitted to having an affair with an employee, resulting in divorce for the couple.

Mrs Edwards has recently been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.

The WBC regularly picket the funerals of U.S. soldiers, asserting that their deaths are punishment from God for existence of gays and lesbians in America.

The church vowed to use the Edwards' lives as an example of the beliefs of the WBC, saying of them: "You will stand alone - naked and alone - for your Final Judgment, before that holy God in whose face you regularly spit.

"Meanwhile, WBC will picket your funerals, which, especially in the case of Elizabeth, if she is telling the truth about her breast cancer, might not be too far off." [SOURCE]

RONALDO RECEIVES TOP HONOURS WITH "GAY ICON" AWARD!!

SWEET!! Cristiano has a new award under his belt.. The "Gay Icon" award from 'Gaygolddiggers'.

The Portuguese winger faced stiff competition from celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, Elton John and David Beckham.

Kylie could only manage a second-place finish, while Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli predictably made the top five.

A spokesman for 'gaygolddiggers' said, “Ronaldo’s ripped body, slicked-back hair, shiny white teeth and jewellery swung the votes his way. He looks like any gay man or woman’s dream. What with being Footballer of the Year, scoring 42 goals last season and former girlfriends saying he is talented off the pitch, he seems to have everything going for him.”

ELLEN AND PORTIA GET MARRIED!!

They did it!! Woot Woot!! They both looked gorgeous!! I wonder who is going to get their wedding photos. The only ones out there are had to see Paparazzi photos. Bah!

"Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles," their spokesperson tells PEOPLE exclusively.

DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony. Their big day also featured arrangements by L.A. florist Mark's Garden.

The intimate ceremony was attended by 19 guests, including DeGeneres's mom Betty and de Rossi's mother Margaret Rogers (who flew in from Australia for the occasion), who witnessed the couple exchange handwritten vows.

The couple have been dating since December 2004. DeGeneres announced her plans to wed de Rossi during a taping of her talk show in May after California's Supreme Court ruled a previous ban on gay marriage to be unconstitutional.

The following month de Rossi showed off a 3-carat diamond ring set on a pink pavé band DeGeneres presented to her for their upcoming nuptials when the pair attended the Daytime Emmy Awards together.

SWEET!! Looks like the MI5 is looking to recruit some gay "James Bond's" for their secret service. They are trying to follow suit like other industries such as; banks, private sectors, etc. and have a more diverse staff.

Stonewall, the gay lobby group, has been hired to advise MI5, the domestic arm of the intelligence services, on how to encourage its spies to be more open about their sexuality and how to attract more gay applicants for posts.

The contract marks a significant change in stance by MI5. Gay men and women were barred from working in sensitive posts in the diplomatic or security services until the early 1990s, a quarter of a century after sexual acts between men were decriminalised in 1967. The ostensible rationale was concern that gay spies could be vulnerable to blackmail, while gay ambassadors could exacerbate tensions between the UK and countries that still criminalise homosexuality.

... Jonathan Evans, who became MI5 director-general last year, has now sanctioned a policy of targeting the gay community as potential recruits. Stonewall will include the security service in its guide of gay-friendly employers this year. The lobby group is also advising MI5 on how to create a supportive environment for its existing gay employees. [SOURCE]

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone. Hope all had a great weekend. I entertained my brother Steve and his girlfriend Tanya and we had a blast. A bit nervous at first because my brother and I don't usually hang out but it went really really well..

Saturday it was Steph's Housewarming party, which was a great time too. Lots of sun.. good food.. And then we topped it off by seeing the Fab Jenia who celebrated her 27th bday. We got to meet her Michelle too, which was great. Such a lovely lady!!

IS EX-WESTLIFE SINGER BRIAN MCFADDEN ANTI-GAY??

This is upsetting because I have to admit that Westlife is one of those bands I have always loved. Yes, I know they are cheesy pop but they have lasted this long doing songs I still enjoy. Now Brian was part of the band until he departed from the group a while back. I am shocked because Mark Feehily, who is in the band Westlife, is an "Out" gay man.

Seems as though Brian thinks "Real Men" should not wear Pink.. Hmmm..

The ex-WESTLIFE star shocked listeners on a New Zealand radio show, saying: "If you are not gay, a man should not be wearing pink.

"Saying pink is a form of red is the same as saying homosexual is a form of male."

Understandable, gay rights activists have accused the singer of homophobia.

A local Auckland charity have spoken out, with Rainbow Youth co-ordinator Robert Marshall saying: "It's the sort of stuff that gets said every day in the schoolyard. A lot of young people are quite impressionable, and when they see celebrities saying stuff like that, they think it's OK to say it themselves." [SOURCE]

CANADIAN TEACHER CHARGED FOR MOLESTING BOYS IN THAILAND

Eww.. This makes me sad to be Canadian.. Well to be associated with someone like Christopher Neil, a 32-year-old schoolteacher, who has been charged for molesting young boys in Thailand. Absolutely disgusting!

Mr Neil was arrested by Royal Thai police in Nakhon Ratchasima in northeast Thailand on 19th October 2007, after an internet image was unscrambled using digital technology.

The arrest followed what INTERPOL described as 'an unprecedented global public appeal' was launched on 8th October to identify the man in the internet image.

Hundreds of photos allegedly showing Mr Neil committing child abuse were uncovered.

He received half of the sentence he may have faced as he pleaded guilty to the charges when he appeared in court on 12th May.

His only comment when the sentence was passed was 'OK', and will not be appealing against the sentence.

Mr Neil faces further similar charges relating to the 13-year-old victim's younger brother.

He denies the alleged offence against the nine-year-old, for which he will be tried in October.
If found guilty of the second offence, Mr Neil will face up to 20 years imprisonment.

Of the appeal to identify and arrest Mr Neil, INTERPOL's Secretary General Ronald K. Noble said: 'This is but one example of how co-operation between INTERPOL, its police partners in 186 member countries and the public can work together to bring international criminals to justice.

'[Mr Neil's] arrest sends a clear message to those men who think they can travel to Southeast Asia to abuse innocent children.

'There is no longer any such place as a safe haven for paedophiles; there is no such thing as anonymity; and there is no escape.' [SOURCE]

People like him is what creates that stigma given to gays by some of these Uber-Christian groups out there. They believe that all gays are perverted paedophiles because of incidents like this. Bah! This makes me so angry. Poor Poor Children..

DO SOME GERMANS THINK GAYS TRANSMIT THE FLESH EATING DISEASE?? - IT SEEMS SO

Oh those Germans! Do some of them really believe that if you shake our hands we will transmit some awful diseases?? BAH HA HA HA HA.. Too funny!

A German Arabic language magazine is being investigated by police after it published an article claiming that shaking hands with gay men can transmit disease.

Al-Salam magazine printed an article entitled "A flesh-eating bacteria and sexual abnormality', which says that gay men carry deadly diseases and that Muslim men should not shake their hands as 'one never knows what kind of bacteria and germs are found on them."

The article is accompanied by graphic photographs of skin diseases.

Al-Salaam is free and distributed to restaurants and cafes around Berlin.

The article was reported to police by the Lesbian and Gay Association of Berlin-Brandenburg (LSVD), who are now investigating the issue.

LSVD spokesperson Alexander Zinn told TheLocal.de:"We have reported it as a crime to the police and it is now being examined to determine whether it should be dealt with as defamation or incitement."

"We would appeal to the more liberal parts of the community to help us with this, and we also need the engagement of the integration representative of the city senate.

"This is one of many signs of something that keeps on coming up.

"Something needs to be done and we need to work together to try to tackle the problem." [SOURCE]

ELLEN GETTING MARRIED THIS WEEKEND??

Wedding Bells may be in the air for everyone's favourite Lesbian couple. There are rumours floating around that Ellen and Portia are going to become one this weekend. Could this be true?? We may have to wait till Monday. Here are what some are speculating:

Comedienne and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres marry her long-term partner, actor Portia de Rossi, in California this weekend.

The couple are reportedly holding an intimate ceremony with close friends and family.

DeGeneres said of De Rossi: "I feel like I found my perfect fit. She's taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I've taught her."

The ban on gay marriage in California was lifted in May.

Since then there has been debate over whether it should remain legally recognised, and the decision to allow gay marriage may yet be reversed.

The California Marriage Protection Act, if passed by voters in November, would amend the state constitution to define marriage as only 'between a man and a woman.' [SOURCE]
