Yikes.. I kinda read this story and thought of some scary Sci-fi Movie this could be based on.The creation of a new French database, EDVIGE, is proving to be highly controversial.

Filing of information can start as early as age 13 and will contain data on "civil status and occupation; physical addresses, phone numbers, email addresses; physical characteristics, photographs and behaviour; identity papers; car plate numbers; fiscal and patrimonial information; moves and legal history."

Man.. Privacy is nothing when it comes to this database eh? I wonder if it will really go forward with it's plans. We will have to wait and see.. scary scary stuff!
