ANGIE'S MURDERER FOUND!

An update on the Trans Teen murder: The murderer was caught. He basically gave every little detail on how he killed Angie. Its very harsh and sad on how he approached the situation. Poor Angie.. RIP.

Allen Ray Andrade, 31, faces several charges, including second-degree murder in the death of Justin Zapata, 20, who was known as Angie Zapata. The victim’s bloodied, battered body was discovered in her apartment by her sister on July 17.

Andrade told investigators that he met Zapata through MocoSpace, a social network designed primarily for cell phone users, according to an arrest affidavit released by Greeley police. The two met July 15 and spent the day together.

Andrade told investigators that Zapata performed oral sex on him but wouldn’t let him touch her, according to the affidavit.

He said he also spent the night at Zapata’s apartment, but in separate beds. The next day, Zapata left Andrade alone in her apartment, and Andrade noticed several photographs that led him to question Zapata’s gender.

Andrade confronted Zapata when she got back. He grabbed Zapata’s crotch area, felt male genitalia and became angry, the affidavit says. He told investigators that he took a fire extinguisher off a shelf, struck Zapata twice in the head and thought he "killed it." [SOURCE]

As much as i love the Portuguese star, something has to be said for his over-tanning. It's getting bad. The dude looks like he has over done it that his skin must be like leather. Postings all over the internet are talking about the soccer star and his over-sun-exposed skin.. Take a look below at the transition of the colour of Ronaldo's skin.

Football star Cristiano Ronaldo clearly enjoys sporting the bronzed look.

But the Manchester United and Portuguese international appears to have taken his love of tanning too far as he turned a distinct shade of mahogany from his daily sunbathing sessions in Los Angeles.

Ronaldo has spent his break since the premiere season's end last month sunning himself. First on holiday with ex-girlfriend Nereida in Sardinia, and now in Los Angeles.

But despite acquiring the desired bronzed look some weeks ago, the star footballer is still soaking up the sun on a daily basis.

Ronaldo's once sunkissed skin has now turned a decidedly much darker hue, but the 23-year-old appears to be addicted to the suns rays, lying out in the sun on a daily basis. [SOURCE]

HIV CURE TRIAL CANCELLED - SAFETY CONCERNS

For my last blog.. got some bummer news. Seems like they are stopping trials on an HIV vaccine

due to safety concerns.. Bah!!

A research trial for the PAVE-100 AIDS vaccine planned in the U.S. has been cancelled over concerns that additional research is needed to prove the vaccine is safe before it is tested on a large number of human subjects.

A similar vaccine from Merck was pulled from research trials last year after it failed to prevent infections and was found to have possibly increased recipients’ chances of contracting HIV.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) planned to test the PAVE-100 vaccine in 2,400 male volunteers at a cost of around $63 million, according to HealthNews.com.
Originally, the PAVE (Partnership for AIDS Vaccine Evaluation) vaccine was intended to be tested in 8,500 volunteers last October.

However, the trial was suspended after the failure of a similar HIV vaccine from Merck.
The Merck HIV vaccine was pulled from research trials last year after failing to prevent infections in research participants and failing to lower the amount of HIV in the blood of infected volunteers. [SOURCE]

That sucks. I feel like this disease may be upon us for some time. Like Cancer, it just seems impossible for a cure. I dunno, deep down I feel like its a conspiracy with the U.S. government trying to save researcher jobs and funding for these diseases. I mean a lot of money goes into these researches for a cure and nothing?? Hmmm.. Gets me thinking every time.

THE GAYS STILL WISH THAT IAN THORPE WAS GAY.. SORRY BOYS.. HE'S NOT!!

Olympic Swimmer Ian Thorpe has be swarmed with gay rumours ever since he showed up on the scene. I am not sure why the rumours.. maybe its because he is a swimmer? Always in Speedos? I am not too sure..

Anyways, reports come in stating the swimmer is now dating a woman across the world. Hmmm.. why such a long distance romance?? Suspicious?? Nah!!

For years, probably since his appearance at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, many have been speculating, and most gay men have been hoping, that the Thorpedo—gold medal winner Ian Thorpe—was indeed a homo. Well, don’t count on it.

This past weekend, in an interview with Australian paper The Sunday Telegraph, Thorpe was again vague about the gender of his new significant other. When asked if there was someone special in his life he said, "There is, but they don’t live in this country."

That interview had the web buzzing that Thorpe might finally reveal more details about his private life, which he has famously kept to himself, probably part of the reason for the homospeculation.

On Monday, however, all our Thorpe dreams were finally laid to rest.

Web site News.AU.com reports that, in an interview with Women’s Day, Thorpe finally revealed the gender of his new love interest.

"I am in a new relationship and I am very happy; except she lives on the other side of the world." Thorpe told the magazine.

"It’s very cool, but we want to see how it goes. She’s a friend of a friend and we were introduced. She has all the qualities that are most important to me." [SOURCE]

Well i guess that squashes a lot of peoples dreams of getting with Thorpe the Torpedo. One can still dream.

BECKHAM STYLE DVB JEANS HAVE BEEN RESHELVED!

Aww poor news for Victoria and Becks. Seems due to poor sales of her regular fashion line, Victoria was told that her male-line of her DVD jeans will be pushed back till 2009.

Victoria Beckham suffered another setback today as plans to launch a men’s line of her jeans collection were put on hold after retailers were unwilling to stock it.

The former Spice Girl was set to launch the new dVb line at Kitson boutique in Los Angeles but it has now been pushed back until next year.

The delay comes just months after the denim range was relegated to the bargain basement bins of several US boutiques while many announced they would no longer carry it because of poor sales. [SOURCE]

In an interview before she did say that the jeans were modeled after her husband David. She loves baggy jeans on guys because it allows one to have more imagination of what's under the clothes. Hell ya.. So true.. I love what Becks is wearing in the above pic. SWEET!!
